Hey guys doing a spring swap. everything was going alright till I got the shock and spring off. I can't seem to losen the top nut. Even if I compress the spring it's not budging.

You need to clamp down the bottom to something.

need to clamp this part down to something stationary
I used a huge C clamp and tightened it down to a shelf(that's sturdy)

got the perfect solutiong I reconnected a bolt back to the harness abouve the brake . gave me enough leverage to lossen the nut. I think the person who installed my old spring fudged it up though

alright the new springs are on and the car is dropped again. Just looking at the springs it almost looks as though the rings of the spring are touching. Anybody else see this?
