Don't speed, problem solved ... as for the ticket, no ... the only way is to take it to court. But considering you got it on New Year's Eve ...

Good Luck.

It was New Years' you should've known that cops are out to get everyone on that night.

Dude, speeding on any holiday is a given dumbass thing to do. Speeding on New Year's Eve is saying 'I want a ticket'.

Any holiday where celebration is mixed with alcohol, like New Year's Eve, July fourth, Irish, is a day you don't speed at all. You'll get pulled over for just looking at the police wrong.

I got one from state police before, and wasn't asked to sign mine either. Don't think it matters.

why not just pay for traffic school??? if it's been 18 months since you last went to traffic school or if its your first ticket. you still don't get it on your record. why would you need to get a lawyer??? it's just a waste of money

this is true and the cheapest way to go. but getting a laweyer who can 'fix' your ticket will take that ticket totally off your record. traffic school will make your ticket invisible to insurance companies..but your still on 3 months probation. (at least here) if during that 3 months you receive another ticket..the first ticket is not removed.

traffic school??? How does that work and where could I go to get that set-up??? The only ticket I ever have is a fishing ticket and not staying in one lane while driving ticket and now this speeding ticket is my 3rd angry thumbsdown

If going to traffic school...how long does it take??

You have to pay the lawyer 100 plus double the fine, or am I just reading what you said wrong? If that's right, then find a new lawyer.
