TRD sport shifter

is the TRD Sport Shifter (SS) the same for the GT and the GTS???

and when is TRD planning on selling a SS for the 2002 celica, since the current ones only work on 2000 and 2001 because toyota changed the shift gates in the new 2002 series celica shocked

yeah,
i'm not sure that TRD isn't going to make any short shifters for the 02 and up. but all i did was use the o/g housing and took the shift rod out the TRD one and swithed it. it works great actually. i still hate the fact that they made the shift gates wider though... thumbsdown

I like the way my shift gates are because I can shift faster that way and I got use to it so I don't misshift. I drove my friends 2002 and I felt that third was too spread out just like a 5spd, so I think they should make a TRD SS for the 2002.

there is not actual point because, like pdawg said, all you have to do is switch the shift rod to a shorter one and yer all set. may be less $ too. thumbsup
