Hi all, Anyone have tried both, or heard anything about both of them? The competition version come with a shift light, an lcd display and some more measurements... I want to know if both perform as well as each other in term of HP measurement. http://www.gtechpro.com/products.html

my friend has the competiton ver. and he says it's really nice. but not totaly accurate the pro sucks imo, it's much less user friendly. but i were you then i'ld get the Apex-i rev/speed meter with G-sensor it's mch more accurate, easier to use, and has mor functions Apex-i rev speed meter [ robearracing.com] but one thing i was wandering is, does anyone know where to get it with mph instead of km/h it says "apex-i rev/speed meter gp (km/h) but it also says you can do quarter mile times, 0-60mph and 0-100mph, so i'm not real sure on this. but i won't be using mine for my speedo anyway. just times and hp

I like my gtech comp.
It gives very acurate 0 to 60 times and quarter mile times. The HP may not be completely acurate but it does give you a base line to judge future performance upgrades against...

Which is exactly what it was designed for. I like my gtech comp.

yeah i know, it is nice, i just said not "totaly" acurate, i think it off like 7-10 hp on average. it's 100 times better than the pro.
and it's a lot easier to use, def a great gadget.
i just said i like the apex-i one better, but it is more expensive and harder to install.

Yes it is because the apex rev/speed meter needs to be hardwired to the ECU whereas the gtech pro/comp just plug into the cig lighter.
