So I think I'm gonna go with a bomz muffler and do 2.5 inch piping from the catalytic converter back. Anything I need to remove? What could I do to keep it kinda deep sounding?

Keep the cat and resonator. As a matter of fact, dont touch your mid-pipe. Have a muffler shop fabricated a pipe with the bomx muffler on it with a flange on the other end to match up with the mid-pipe. That way things are interchangeable.

With the way I told you to do your setup, you'll get a very deep sound with very little raspy noises. It won't be harsh sounding at all.

On my exhaust system, i just have a cat and a canister type muffler on the end. I have no other resonators or mufflers. My exhaust is pretty loud and harsh sounding.

Getting rid of the resonator will give you a Ricey Buzzing Sound.

No, it won't. It will just make the sounds of the exhaust more raspy.

The ricey buzzing sound comes from faulty welding in the exhaust system. For example, the part where the piping is welded to the muffler. If it isn't welded completely together, it will buzz.

The Kazuma is very buzzy sounding.
