Ok... I'm going to build several different designs for spoilers in the coming months. I'm opening this thread for suggestions or requests of what people would like to see for our cars. Photochops, photos from other cars, writen descriptions will all be welcome. I want any input that you can give me.

Good replies... what I'm trying to do is get away from the standard spoilers available for the Celica, and come up with something completely new. When I say pics of other cars, things like Lamborghinis and Ferraris and anything else you can find are also welcome. If you've seen anything that you would like to see on the celica, post away. The celica already has sort of an exotic look. Let's take advantage of that, and flaunt it.

That will hopefully came in a little bit... I need to get the original shape built first (it would get expensive to experiment with Carbon Fiber

think a supra style wing would look good?

It would have to be a little more angular, but it could be done

I would like to see how a double decker (fiberglass) would look like on a celica.

My car might be slow, but at least it looks nice!

i like the look of the saleen s7 spoiler you posted.

also i wouldn't mind having a spoiler that was molded to the rear of my car (no space between spoiler and hatch.) this would probably have to be made in 3 pieces.

Both of these are ideas that I am likely to do a little more work on... The other selling point for my spoilers is that they will all fit the stock bolt holes, and therefore be direct replacements for the stock spoiler.

sweet thumbsup it's always a good thing to be a straight bolt on with no modifications needed. i'm (as well as most ppl i would assume) not a fan of universal spoilers...i tend to like spoilers that were made specifically for the celica because 1. they fit the stock holes and 2. they tend to flow better with the celica because they were designed specifically for the celica.

All of the spoilers that I build will accent some design aspect of the car, and will be designed specifically for the celica. It's not the only car that I will build spoilers for, but it's the only one that I will concentrate this much energy on smile I'm trying to put together a selection of spoilers so that people have a broader range of designs to choose from. I like the TRD, WW, Kam, RMM and other spoilers like that... and I like the APR style spoilers, but none of them are the style that I want for my car, and it really is kind of a limiting list.

OK... i went ahead and photochopped the spoiler from the 360 onto a pic of my car, thinking that maybe it would help people envision my projects a little bit better. I will say though, that the pics that I posted are not necessarily the spoilers that I'm going to build, they were just examples of what could be done...

kind of hard to tell what it looks like...but from the side/back view it looks like a few things that are already out there. (universal style).

that said, i really don't have a good view of it.

not hating, just making a point.

Yeah Yeah Yeah, what you said. You know those rare ppl that drop the celi real low and don't put a spoiler on? I've seen it on other cars, I forget which ones, but I like them alot. Alot a lot alot. tasty

i had mentioned this earlier. imo, they look tight as hell thumbsup obviously these will have to be done in 3 separate parts (imo, extension spoilers that are only 1 piece--fit only the trunk--don't look as clean. some 350z spoiles follow this and they don't look right to me). i'll post a few pics.

Ok... I've been commissioned to build a spoiler like the one that Veilside has on it's VS2 celica. The only real difference is that it will have solid fiberglass stands, instead of the aluminum ones. The car that the original commission was for is a saturn, but I don't have to match any stock bolt holes on it, so I can build it to fit the stock Celica holes if I want. What I need to know is if that is something that people would be interrested in. If so, I will make it a direct replacement for our cars.

That's roughly what it will look like, but with a different shape for the stands, and probably not quite as wide.

on like this one would be cool, but it would have to be in Carbon Fiber

it's just that it would be cool if it were made for the celica, as in angeled different to fit the hatch and stock bolt holes

I am going to be exploring the idea of carbon fibre spoilers in the near future... so it's a distinct possibility.

that would be awsome, if you make it and it fits the celica beter, i'ld buy it, i'm not completely sure what this is but if it's one of the little twisty things that move the spoiler up and down when you twist it, that would be awsome to have on that spoiler along with some better end caps.

i wouldn't want for a few more months anyways, so if do make that i will def. buy it even if it cost more.

I'm thinking that I will pull a lot of the design aspects from that spoiler into the one that I've been commissioned to do...I'll post pics as I go so that you can tell me if it's something that you're interrested in.

It wouldn't be that difficult to convince me... give me two or more people that want the spoiler, and will deffinately buy it for a reasonable price, and I will build them and ship them to you.
