Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Shift light. How to...

I was wondering if anyone out there who knows how to put a shift light without a tach. I know you can get just a shift light that comes with tach but don't want the tach just the shift light. Also, it would help me out how I can install them. Don't have any clue with these thing. Please any feedback would help. Thanks.

Or you could get a two peice shiftlight/tach, mount the tach under the dash where you, nor anyone in the car/outside the car can see it, then mount the light behind your right side/drivers side vent so its not visable,(or any where else you want to) Then when you are flying down the road and the tach hits the right rpm's under the dash, the light goes off...

that costs too much $$$ . . . autometer sells just the lights.
