u need to buy this special filter paper from a craft store and simply pull the green rouuber covers off the bulbs, then cut peices of th epaper and place it over each bulb, then presto, you got you some blue lights

I think he means the bulbs that are soldered into the board. One is orange and I believe the other is yellow?
Two lights light everything in the ac console, and the two I think he is talking about light the ac button and rear defrost button when they are turned on or activated. Perhaps you could cover them with something to change their color, but I bet you could also switch them out.
You can see them when the black cover held in by the two screws in the above picture are removed. The panel comes off with the buttons attatched to it, but then two more lights are exposed, again, the ones that light the ac and defrost when activated.

My console is not out now, so I couldn't tell ya. Look inside of there yourself and let us know how they are secured to the panel. Then we can see what kind of light it is.

I was thinking you meant the two that turn on when the ac or defrost is activated. To take the lights out, just pull the panel out by unscrewing the two screws securing the black panel on, and pull the board out that the lights are secured to. Just simply twist them out from the board. You will see what I mean when you take the black panel and buttons off. As for getting the bulbs out of the plastic plug on the end of them, I havn't tried that yet. Not sure how to without applying force. Also, I'm unsure as to how to put the new bulbs into the plastic plug.

the console is lighted by the following:
two bulbs covered by a green cap (orange in 03+ MY) these are not soldered to the board, they are simply screwed in.
The defrosted has an orange LED, and the AC switch has a green LED (orange in 03+ MY)
If you take this apart (the housing) make sure you replace the AC Control Board Assembly V E R Y C A R E F U L L Y
I broke mine, and it's impossible to replace. In order to do so, you need to unsolder, and solder in a new board, which in the space, is next to impossible.

I broke one of the "screw holes" that hold the ac and defrost buttons in and now they are both hard to press and the ac one doesnt work. Any way I can go about fixing it?

Maybe with some glue or something... Yeah, I didn't want to have to but I guess I'll have to use some crazy glue or hot glue. The reason I didn't want to resort to glue is because if I don't mount it right the first time and both of the buttons don't work right, I'm screwed. Oh well, you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.
