spoiler bolt holes

Ok, most of you know by now that I'm building a spoiler for my car. I want to have the spoiler fit the stock holes on the trunk. The problem is that I don't have a stock spoiler, and therefore no holes on my trunk to measure. This is where I'm going to rely on my good friends here on the forum. I need to know the dimensions (to the center of the hole, as close as possible) that I have labled as X, X' and Y in the drawing below.

Thanks everyone!

if you want a stock spoiler, I have have one SHIPPED within 48 hours for $50 SHIPPED via UPS

Its the stock spoiler from TRD's red/white Celica with the SC... they didn't need the spoiler any longer, and offered it to me at no charge - so now I'm passing it down to you for only the cost of shipping.

It was originally red, but now it's premiered white and ready to be painted again - but its a good piece for exact measurements, and to look at for ideas on how to build your custom spoiler and you could transfer the base or even the bolts over to your new setup.

Either way, its fully stock and ready to ship if you'd like to cover the shipping charge...
$10 for box, $5 for bubble and $35 for the UPS shipping... $50 SHIPPED TO YOU thumbsup

another idea for you would be to find someone in your are to remove their spoiler. place it on a large cardboard piece. and draw notes or pierce the cardboard with where the bolts are located at.

if no one in your area will do this - ask someone online who has replaced their spoiler, to get their OEM one from the garage happywink and do this project for you... then fold the cardboard in half and mail it to your address for a few bucks, payable to USPS thumbsup

Cool, thanks all. I'm going to buy the stock spoiler from Isaac, and use it to prototype my new spoilers (one high and aggresive, another low and classy). Hopefully, I will have them available within a couple of months. cool

this isn't uncommon. and in any case, brent (creator of teamcelica.com) bought his car w/out a spoiler. and just look at his car now:

I know... I love his car. I hope that my car looks half as good as his when I'm done (if that ever happens).
