hi, i think i want to get some gauges for the a-pillar. i was wondering if some one could tell me which gauges are the easiest to install. i have no experience with gauges, but hopefully i can get some help on this topic. obviously, they should be easy to install and have some kind of use. n e ideas where i can them too? thnx. i did do some search and seems like a vacum gauge is pretty popular along with a voltmeter, but how easy r the to install. also one of my friends said that a oil pressure gauges is useful, is that easy to install? thnx for ur help in advance!

you dont need gauges unless you are running turbo. other gauges are pretty much useless.

everyone should have a voltmeter...i don't know what toyota was thinking when they didnt place one factory in the celica...imo its dumb that they didnt. every decent car should have a voltmeter. and its very simple to install.

well i'm getting a gauge pod for 15 bucks, has room for two gauges. i'm gonna paint it red to match my interior. as far as the brand of gauges goes, i'm not sure. i know that we all love the ecelica store, but imo the prices for the gauges are tad bit more than wut i can really afford. so i will be browsing around. i will definitely buy gauges with a black background as over stock gauges are and orange or red needles and numbers, so everything matches. i dunno i just don't have the balls to install the indiglow gauges or else i'ld definitely invest money in the autotechnic s7 indiglo gauges as well as the gauge pod gauges, that would look so hot. given i can had the balls and could save money. so for right now i'm gonna browse the internet until i find a good deal, and i'll probably be asking you vsgts on how to install them, meaning where to attach the wires for the gauges. so thnx in advance for the help u'r gonna give me. grin

hey vsgts14, i just found a voltmeter gauge and an electric water temp gauge, both made by ac autotechnic. i have an option of getting the s7 gauge or the reverse indiglow. the price is $80 shipped for both together, are these good. also i'm still interested in the autometer gauges similar to those that are sold in the ecelica store and i managed to find them on ebay for $45 shipped. if i get the autometer what do you really recomend, the carbon fiber or the white face that glow blue at night. however, i'm really leaning towards this, look at the pic below; these are the $80 shipped set of two gauges the volt and the water temp.
