i dont remember the numbers exactly. i was doing the angel eyes thingy, which required some LED lightbulb and 220 ohm resistors. actually the resister i bought was 470 ohm bcz the LED i bought was brighter than the one in the instructions at angel eyes. wut r you using the LED for? just ask a worker there, get the color you want, and theyll tell you which resistor is the best for the LED.

the resistor was from 99cent to $2 max. 5-6 of em come in a pack. the LED i bought was about 3-4$ . a litle more expensive then the regular one cz it was brighter.

Hey, I realize that you live in STL like me, and I was out looking for these this weekend, and Radio Shack does not have the right kind of LED's you are looking for. You need surface mount LED's, and they don't carry those. I went to the one in Crestwood Mall, Kirkwood, and South County Mall, and nothing. I did buy a 40 watt soldering iron, a desoldering bulb, and some solder though, because you will have to solder the old LED's off and solder the new ones back on, except for the two in the ac console.
I have never soldered before, so I have been practicing on old computer parts to get the hang of it. I am going to do the radio first because it is under warranty and then move to bigger and better things. Offhand, I believe the LED size is 1206, but I could be wrong.

Here is a link to a post going into a little more detail about the LED's.

You might also want to take a look at the installation process in the install section to see if you can handle it, but I'm sure you might be able to unless you are a moron like me. grin

Great, I might take you up on that. I'm more of a mechanical guy and not an electrical guy, and I am worried that if I solder mine myself, that I might mess it up. Also, I'm looking into ordering some myself, and I think that I may have to resort to getting them online. Either way, I'll let you know where you can get them. Keep in touch. thumbsup

Also, if I can find a good price, I'll let you know and I'll order some for the both of us.

This the right bulb?

You're lucky you want white (clear) because they are more common and cheaper than blue. frown

Also, for the ac console lights, I took the green rubber "nipple" off of both of the lights, and it didn't change the color of the console a whole lot. Overall, the console still appeared to be green.
