everything but red and blue are legal for on road use in florida. Minnesota is different though, everything is illegal on the road, you can only have them on when you are parked.

I have red and have never had a problem. Ive talked to a few cops and they were honest and just said as long as they arent blinking and the tubes arent visible (which is considered external lighting) they dont really give a damn.

I know a few mechanics and they always tell me funny stories of how they work on ricer cars and once they get them onto the lift. Pop! So if you do decide to get them, dismount them if you have auto body work done on your car.

The ricers sometimes neglect to tell them though, so they never pay for it.

nj they are illegal while driving and as far as some cops go some say that they dont care as long as the bulb is not visible...so im guessing that it is hit or miss in nj...by law they are but by cop it doesnt matter.oh yeh and why is it rice to have neons or is that at the persons discretion? thumbsup
