how much did you all pay to have your springs installed...the toyota place here wants to charge me $630 to install and align...i almost crapped myself...i hope it is cheaper...let me know how much to expect to pay and if this is correct (seems high to me)...thanks

Same here, places around here want to charge me about 500-600 for the install. So one of my friends works for Ford and he's gonna help me do it myself.

It should be around $60. Alignment not included. You should let you spring settle before doing an alignment anyway

Rent some spring compressors and do it yourself its actually not that hard

got mine done for 90$ canadian cash. watched him do it, took about 1 hour at most.

Sorry, I don't smoke. $60 is what I paid. It takes about an hour. Toyota charges about $35 per hour on labor here in California. I don't know how they could justify $600+ for a two hour job (with alignment)

here in illinois they charged around 250 something for installing springs (coilovers) no alignment. If you have springs, i suggest you go to the nearest autozone or any auto store and rent a springs compressor, it's free and you only have to deposit 50 dollars, and after you're done they'll give the 50 dollars deposit back. You'll need jackstand if you going to do it yourself, and be really careful, my friends adviced that to me. BTW get some help from friends. that's what i'm doing.

But anyway i'm gonna do it myself so poo on toyota

600 bucks! Dont let some rip you a new one, with some help you can do it yourself, its easy, it took me about 2 hours...I didnt have air tools or a lift, just did it the old fashion way.

My lowering springs(eibach sportlines) were installed free after purchase @ www.mbautosport.com [mbautosport.com] on the 2nd annual meet thumbsup
