My seats are dirty and its driving me crazy. What brand seat cleaners have you used? Or am I just better off going to a car wash and having it done there?

for cloth seats, you can always just use a steam vac that dealerships use with a bit of spray nine on it...

otherwise, idk

Yo, mine were dirty too, i had deep coffee stains and coke stains( hand me down car) i used A steam cleaner that we had in our house, with the basic solution in the machine, with a topical spray, the best i have found is "oxy clean deep" its for fabrics and stuff, and comes in a blue bottle. spray it on let sit for a minute, and then spray the fluid from the vac on he spot or the whole seat and vac, you gotta push hard to get it all up, and sometimes reaply, it took me a good 3 hours to clean the cabin, exculuding drying time, it took a few days to get all dry, but the results are fabulos... You have to let it dry to see the true result, but you can see through the nossel that you are picking up a dirty liquid, and i pulled up a shit load...

Steam vac is best, you can take the cheap road and get didi7 and one of those cans with spray and a brush on the top, but they don't take out stains well, mostly only the top dirt.

steam cleaner is the way to go. on spots that are hard to take off, use oxyclean. be sure not to steam too much at an area and vacuum as good and as much as you can without ripping the cloth. leaving extra water on the seats will make the sponge in the seats wear out quicker. and be sure to have ur windows down for a few days for more air circulation or else a smell will stay in ur car.

well, after my seats were cleaned I put the car in my garage and opened the doors and put a fan near it. And my neighbor brought me this heater thing (almost like a blow dryer) made by black and decker. It dried my seats really quick, but I left the fan running for about an hour after. Everything is bone dry and looks great!

u might feel its dry on the surface, but sometimes when you sit on it for a long drive, ull feel ur ass wet. just put it out at sun for a few hours if its sunny, and have ur windows down for clean air and have the ventilation on the ac from outside in, not recycling air. if put under the sun, i wouldnt have armorall on the dashboard.

i would do it myself if i were u. you can do the job better urself, and have it cleaner, a better "detailed" cleaning. every single part. and then you never know these guys might rip ur cloth. and i dont think they will dry the seats when you get the car back, they will cover it with a bag or something. so you still have to do the drying process. take off the bag on the seats and put it indoors if its rainy outside. if doing it urself, dont put too much pressure on the cloth, you might either rip it or end up having the cloth bumpy.

Nice! Yeah can't go wrong with $15 bux. Same thing with oil changes, why do the work when you can pay someone $20 bux to do it and you don't hafta get under the car and get dirty? I used to change the oil myself, but I just said *f* it. I'd rather be doing something else.
