im getting hotchkis springs, and i emailed hotchkis the exact same question, they said that it was not nessisary, but for racing it will give you better traction, im going to put on my springs pritty soon, and prolly this summer when i have extra money ill get the hotchkis camber kit

but do the springs make your camber different than stock...i dont want to ride around with bad camber.

Listen people I've been serching for the perfect alignment for street and track. And my Tein Ha coilovers being close to 2" under stock I can't get anyone here to give me an alignment. And I mean no one that will be willing to do it and have me come back a month later. I have my doubts about Hotchkis Camber plates (some here w/understand) and they aren't needed unless U need to dial in some camber for the track not street the track understand this. Their plates don't offer that much adjustment anyways. Save your money and get the new Tein settup w/camber plates if U are worried or better yet Jic if U have the money. Just springs and street driving or racing forget the plates and save that money for something better. Camber plates offer a stiffer ride too on their own, understand this if U will only be driving on pot hole streets.

Anything can affect your alignment. Lowering your car w/springs U need to get an 4 wheel alignment, unless U like driving with your tires wearing out every 15,000 miles. You mess with the suspension U need a 4 wheel adlignment no questions asked. Adding tires 215's 17' from a 205 15" and it will throw of your alignment by a tad (wider tires). Add some springs and just drive away, forget it. Need camber bolts or plates probably not. Hope the lift at the shop could accommodate your lowered vehicle then no worries otherwise look to a specialized alignment place like I have for Ferraris and the like even with camber plates or links or bolts, but that may just be Jersey.
