do you mean its a sportshift? if its stick, then rev like 3 or something b4 letting the cluth go. exhaust/CAI will probably help.

look into a torque converter - I have a manual so I haven't researched whats available for the celica, but for quicker takeoff in an auto thats what you want (or a supercharger!)

Get a Tranny change to a manaul.

auto celicas aren't practical for racing purposes.

yeah dude sorry to tell you but pretty much any 4 cyl car thats an auto has a great dissadvantage when it comes to launching.. One thing you can try is the ever popular rofl power launch, this however puts strain on your engine.. use your left foot on the brake hard and press the gas softly so you get your rpm's high, I think up to 2k is the highest or 3k not sure what I got to last time, and then as soon as you left of the brake, slam the gas pedal, you should feel quite a nice launch and maybe even some tire chirp... Also, when I installed my CAI and my springs yesterday, I now get tire chirp with normal launches and I have a GT auto spineyes
