Well...I'm in a dilemma. I've been offered an Apex'i N1 Turbo for $220...and a TRD standard for $275. What you guys think? I've heard that the TRD standard is completely do-it-yourself bolting on, and requires no welding or taking your car into an auto shop. So...could save money, unless I'm wrong. Which one would you prefer? I'm looking for sound, gains, and ease of install. Thanks.

for the money TRD is the best. Easy to install, street legal, and the sound is nice, not too loud not too low, just a nice purr...plus no droning on the highways! thumbsup oh and yeah you should check out the exhaust reviews...TRD is the fav among the ecelica ppl

Based on sound I like the N1. But for performance the TRD would be better. thumbsup

If you are meaning a universal Apex N1 then definately go with the trd, but if you mean Apex N1 cat-back exhaust, definately get the Apex. very easy to install, always the only pain part is removing original exaust.
I love my apex, sounds better in my opinion and stands out much more. Very well made too.(nice weld seams and finish)

It depends on what your budget is...

if you can afford a nice pretty TRD exhaust, go for it!

if you can't, buy a non-turbo apexi n1 universal muffler and go down to your local muffler shop and get it installed! It will perform! Trust me! Just get the straightest possible piping!

Heck, you live by me, we'll go together and i'll tell the guy what to make ya.
