i'm buying rims and a lot of the rims i like are 18x8...my questions is are 18x8 to wide. what offset and tire size would i run. they have to fit right because once they are mounted i can't return them...oh yeah i will be running a drop kit not sure what size yet and a body kit if that matters...i might run air at some point too so i have to have fender clearance as well. thanks guys

Most people have 18x7.5. But, I guess 18x8 should be fine. Tires: I wouldn't go wider than 225. Offset: keep it between 36+ to 42+. My rims are 36+ with 225 tires. Good luck... let us know what your decide.

Damn... why did you go that wide? What size tire are you using? Any problem with front tires rubbing during a full turn?

my homie eugic 92 rubs some times with his 225/40/18 tires. I have the exact same size but i dont rub, I think its because his car is slightly lower in front.
