Ellusionist, that looks like either a cover or it's painted on. It's not a vinyl cover because i don't think vinyl can bend like that around the edges. If you find out, be sure to let everyone know, that looks kewl!
I dont care about the tail lights... what Im realy intrested in knowing is - how the heck did he get his trunk to stay up like that with an aftermarket spoiler attached to it!
...specialy since mine always slamms closed into my head with the slightest amount of wind (after replacing the stock and adding tha Kaminari spoiler)
It's not just your imagination... Your day really does go by twice as fast while on EverythingCelica.com
i dont have the same trunk problem.. but i remember we used to have that problem with our dodge van when the hydraulic shock things gave out... heres the fix...
open your trunk and put on end of a baseball bat (in the vans case we used a hockey stick) on the floor of the trunk and the other end on the inside of the trunk lid.. works great..
for all you show people.. use shorter or longer bat for desired height.. and i think blue or red anodized and maybe even polished bats are available from easton or louisville slugger..
on a more serious note... if you felt how heavy that van door was without the hydraulic things... you wouldn't take the hydraulic things on your car for granted...
