i just got Bluebat's kit, but im rethinking of not putting them on. one of my friends say that his brother got pulled over because he had smoked tails on his truck. does anyone know if they are legal?

hope not. i havent gotten pulled over and the cop that inspected my car at the dmv when i was changing my plates didnt say a word


a kid told me that celicas handle like crap... i laughed

GO ahead and put em on, if you get pulled over the worst they can do is write you a fix-it ticket. If you don't get pulled over, everything is great wink

fix it tickets are only 10 bucks. Also the smoke tails shouldnt be illegal as long as you dont put them over your front head lights.

they should be legal as long as people can tell when you are reversing, stopping and turning if they can't tell then it illegal

if a cop pulls you over for tail light stickers and want to write you a ticket - get out of your car and remove them right on the spot... heck, you will have to take them off for the fix-it ticket anyways, right? Why have to deal with all the time and hassle of going to sheriff's office for inspection when you can remove them right there on the spot.

Plus you can use the $10 you saved, on a new set of red-out tail vinyls happywink

very true. most cops over here won't write you a ticket anyway for things like that. they might pull you over..but they'll just make you take them off. this has happened to friends of mine with the ricer hood lights.

I had my smoke tails on for over 2 years, not once was I ever pulled over for them. Then again, the Overlay I use isn't too dark thumbsup

shit, i see people with those dark as hell gto lights, they wouldn't sell those if they were illegal, so smokin tailights can't be illegal.
