Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior question 4 ppl w/auto GTS and reverse indiglos

iam trying to install mine but i cant figure out how to cut the hole so the gear HUD would show(sprtshift mode)
do you need to cut from the back or from the front???or do you just cut all the way thru?
what iam worried about is on the backof the gauges there is the black plastic circuit board and i dunno if a can cut through that w/o damaging the gauge itself
so can some 1 help me out

you would cut from the top with an exacto knife and a very steady hand... place some masking tape over your new AC Rev Gauges so that you can draw an outline of the space you are to cut. check and recheck that what you are about to cut is exactly enough to display your sport shift gears fully

here are some attached pictures to give you more detail and help with the cutting diagram - although you would have to get creative on how you will cut when it comes around the mph/kph lettering... but it shouldnt be to dificult if you get it all thought out before you begin this project
