...really makes you appreciate your Celica.
I drove my brother's Lexus on a 2-3 hour trip yesterday, and although it's a nice car, I felt much more comfortable when I got back in my own car. The Lexus is too big, and it's more like I tell the car what to do, then it does it. The Celica fits like a glove, and it's like I'm manipulating the car directly.

totally agree with you... i drove my mom's van to LA once and when i got back in my celica, i noticed how nimble the handling was and how responsive the steering was.

I've got all of you guys beat. Try going from a 1984 Toyota Corolla Station Wagon to my 2002 Celica GT. THAT is a big difference!! Also my friend who went from his dad's 1994 Toyota Tercel (with 198,234 miles on it) to his 1999 Integra with only 9,550 miles on it. Both are big differences, but i'd rather prefer my change!

celica= good/sharp on turns, light, fully controllable. its a car that you can take more risks with it and pass it. drive fast while steering without worrying about ur car flipping. it sits great on the ground. yet the bad thing is long drive on the freeway, ur too low and you feel all the bumps. still great cz you can drive it faster safer and reach to ur destination quicker!

I drive my girlfriend's Accord quite a bit and sure I could beat on it and race everyone but it comes down to be carefull of every pothole and don't take the turns too fast in the rain. I'ts not my car that's what it realy comes down to. I wreck her car and she might as well own my Celica. Makes me nervous. The same with my Mother's Audi = super nervous.

I loved driving my moms avalon, while i was with her over the summer in chicago, went over 120 in it on the highways and beat almost every car on the street. At the end of the summer though i bought her new tires, i totally used them up, squeling them at every stop. Plus it was fully loaded (XLS) leather, premium sound, nice trunk, tint, mnroof, dual climate, The hole shibang. Could beat the celica anyday. (little long though) (but i drove it like i stole it)
