03 Celica seeking immediate help!

Dear fellow celi drivers, I currently have my turbo completely done its so wonderful, i hae 13 kills including a 2001 dodge viper srt, 66 mustang gt 406 big block by 5 car lengths, eclipse gst not even close to me haha, civics, predludes, mr2, and so on!!! anyhow last night while i was racing the viper i totally stripped my clutch... scariest thing in the world when your pushing at 300+ HP and 285 ft pounds of torque and your clutch tings all the way to the right and you cant move, anyhow ANYONE that has any idea of where i could get a CLUTCHMASTER clutch at a reasonable price please reply I cant drive my car til i get a new clutch and i am just going to keep blowing clutches with anything less than 10% LSD... thanks a million and celica pride will never be forgotten...

Oh and you should come down this week when Mike brings me back my car. He is planning on doing the dyno here and I would love to see some dyno numbers on your car.

No problem at all. Oh I just realized you won't be able to dyno with your blown clutch.

well i'm not sure how much it would cost for someone off the streets but i helped put it in but i ended up out of pocket paying 3600 thats with all the extras (fuel fail, alcohol injection, fuel management system, powdercoating, turbo, intercooler, idler bypass plater) total would have cost someone around 35 k for the basics, but we went all out.. call and ask him though... later

Hey I have a couple of questions!!
What kind of turbo do you have on your car? Is it a GT or GTS? What kind of changes did you have to do to your engine to make the turbo work? What was the price of the turbo??

Yeah, but toyota has to prove that adding a turbo and pumping 160 extra horsepower through the stock internals actually had anything to do with it. tongue

the car engine is bone stock.. no internals nothing.. just a fuel rail that was custom made for me.. the alcohol injection which allowed me to octane at 101, and all the little things but the engine is bone stock the turbo cost me total 3600 bucks... anyhow good news toyota is fixing my clutch because i was having problems with it before the turbo, and it was documented so they had to fix it.. with only 16k on the car they had no choice.. anyhow later guys.. and my car is a GT (which responds better than the GTS with turbo

Wow, very nice car, I'm impressed! I wish I had a turbo on my Celica. frown

But do you really expect us to beleive that you beat a 2001 Dodge Viper RT? They put out 450 hp and 490 ft lbs of torque to the rear wheels, how do you propose that a turbo GT with stock internals and stock clutch was able to keep up with that? I'm not doubting that you lined up with one and came out ahead of him, but he was making fun of you, not racing you! rofl
