ok, this might not be the most appropriate forum to ask this question so please feel free to move it if it needs to be moved.

i was installing tail lights for my gf's rsx and after the installation i found out that one side of her break light didn't work(bulbs are fine but when i press the break pedal it doesn't glow stronger). i am not exactly sure whether i did something wrong during the installation or it was just a conincidence that it happened while i was installing it.

i was looking for rsx club websites, but i thought this kind of problems are similar in any automobiles, so i decided to ask this question here.. since i come here the most.

anyone had this kind of problem?? does anyone know the solution?

thanks

C'mon now be nice, You may have the bulb in wrong.

Or that bulb may have gone bad by bangin it around during the install.

when i put my tailights in on my celica, that happened to one side of my breaks, and then after a while the bulb light when out, so it might be ready to break or something, but im not sure. i just remember the left side was really dim, and then we tried it again and it was out. idunno

I had the same problem 10 days ago... Just check you fuses...There should be a spare fuse in the fuse box under your hood. wave

check your wiring. make sure its not damamged. check the ground. make sure that its not loose. check the contacts on the socket. make sure that they are getting good contact on the bulbs and are not damaged.
