Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Blue LEDs - GT vs. GTS

Okay, I want to do the blue LED swap in the Celica. I've already ordered the reverse-indiglos from the Store here and will need to get the LEDs for the digital pod and radio soon. However, the guy that sells the LEDs (The Hammer) mentions the LED set for the radio is for the GTS only! The HOWTO here mentions nothing about GT vs. GTS when doing this mod. I've emailed him with this question but haven't heard back, yet.

Can I order the LED set for the GTS and have enough to do a GT?? Are there more LEDs in the GT? What's the story on this?

My understanding is that the GTS Radio uses 46 LEDs and the GT Radio uses 50 LEDs. I do not know this for a fact but is what I have been told. Check out this site - http://www.lvcm.com/seanyiya/public/led_store/

GT radio is little more complicated to isntall then GTS radio..
I have GTS radio so.. I have install guide for it.. but since I don't have GT radio.. I can't make out the GT radio install guide..
From my customer who bought GT radio LED kit..
They had no problem..
GT uses 4 more LED then GTS radio... that's about it..
It's harder but it can be done...
Just let me know if you need LEDs..
