ok well I guess my problem isnt with the bar itself...but just where it is

sure as hell just as I put it in a week later my battery dies...and to take the battery out I need to take the bar back off to change the battery, though I am going to go ahead and invest in a Hi-Cap grin

That is bad news, but hey I was planning on getting an APR flex control bar and need to know if anybody else has experienced this problem with there bar?

umm...heh...I was thinking I had to take the plates off but I forgot about those allen bolts grin

this battery is shorter so I can use the tie down that came with the bar now thumbsup

EDIT: just found out the new battery is too short cry

the dead battery? that happens to certain cars...
it could be caused by a parasitic draw...
there is no problem with the apr strut bar(unless it was made defective of course), and you can use the battery tie down if you installed it right.

I had a battery that would die after 10 minutes of use (thanks to RedSun in SD for bailing me out several months back)... and so I had to replace the battery when I got back into Los Angeles.

Removal of the bar, taking the old battery out, bringing it in to Sears and waiting in line, getting the new battery and re installing it to the car, then putting back the APR bar took less than 30 minutes TOPS! (most of that time was waisted in line at sears on a Sunday afternoon)

I bought a Optima yellow top...Its a little low to use the battery tie down, but I may block it up eventually or something...

there was no problem with the bar...its just in the way to pull the battery out

and I think the old battery just died of old age...I dont know how long it was in there...bought the car used


oh BTW: is the high top battery a mod? where would I list that confused grin

if your battery is too short, place some pieces below the battery, to raise it to a correct height - there is nothing difficult about that thumbsup
