its not that bad...kinda cool, but i wouldnt do it.
Looks okay but you know what, with the money this guy spent, he could of gotten the real thing.
so true but then again he might have wanted to be one of those honda guys that think they are cool and want to try to have a civic like no other. even if they have to copy another car.
looks like a chop job to me...some honda owners are downrightr crazy.
we have a 4 door civic around here. what does he do? he shaves off the back two doors (no kidding) and starts doing a is300 conversion. (its horrible)...you can stil see the lines from where the doors used to be.
you can make these conversions look very well..but the cost involved is just astronomical.
i do like the concept of chopped cars and conversions. theres just no such thing as a cheap conversion. to make a conversion look right, you have to have to put lots of $$ into it. that bmw conversion was obviously not backed by a lot of cash.
we have a pretty tight nissan 240sx-ferrari 355 conversion around here. i'll post a picture of it soon if i can. its pretty nice.
well i have a couple pictures left on my camera that i really need to use up so i can develop the pics (gf's homecoming--sux, i can't stand dances) so i'll stop by where he works and use the roll up.
First they mimic the Celi, now this? Must be a subconcious thing where they are saying "I can only afford this P.O.S., but what I really want is what you're driving."
not bad looking fromt he front...but geez people i hate these civic owners...if you buy a civic keep it a civic if you want a bmw buy a freakin bimmer...geez
took the pics of the nissan 300zx--ferrari 355 conversion (not 240 sx like i said earlier) i'll post them up as soon as i get them developed and scanned
it's a pretty sick ride, everything is molded very nicely.
i'm gonna get my camera to catch a very sick nsx rolling around here..i'll get some pics of those soon as well
He spent all that money on the conversion but still has the SOHC motor
yeah..i guess it depends on what he meant it to be used for. if he just wanted a bimmer, then he wasted his $$. but if he is sporting it around shows, then it might be a good investment (although its not exactly a great conversion job) good, clean conversions score high with judges. it's so much more than a simple body kit or euros and what have you...win a few shows and you're getting $$ back on ur investment.
