Alright i have a 2000 auto gts with 58000 miles and i have a couple of problems with it. The car is 100% stock no mods or anything.

1.Sometimes when i step on the gas i hear this clinging or trr sound coming from right under the center console where the ac controls are.It usually happens when i am fully stop then i accelerate thats when i hear it.I dont floor my car or anything like that.I read previous post that it might be the heat shield rattling but i checked it out and it was on tight!so what could it be?

2.When my car is fully warmed up my engine specifically on the
passenger side gets noisy like a rattling sound.I can hear it from the driver seat like a low rumbling sound. If any of you have any ideas what could be wrong pls post your opinions will be very helpful!

NO WARRANTY HERE!!!

check to make sure all the screws in the dash are tight

also, take the door apart and check for loose parts.

I had the same rattle, and it was a clip stuck in the door panel

quick question, when you checked your heatshield did you get underneith and banged your exhaust with your hand, cause sometimes you have to wiggle it and bang on it to actually hear a heatshield noise specially on the not so loose heatshield which only makes noise when pressure and engine vibration is present.
be carefull not to get burnt. grin
