first, are our valves electonical...second how much did you guys pay for ur valve ajustment if you have had an ajustment at all int he first place...sounds like theres a bomb under my hood from all the excess redlining.

Try using an oil additive that has a detergent in it which claims it will stop valve chatter. Also, switch over to a synthetic oil like mobil 1. If that doesn't calm the noise, take your car down to your local toyota dealership for a valve adjustment.

I have the same problem...I use mobil one, but it sounds like crap when it idles.

will it stop if I tighten the cable (I never have) since it goes away at 1K rpm and the car idles at 750
