valve adjustment

first, are our valves electonical...second how much did you guys pay for ur valve ajustment if you have had an ajustment at all int he first place...sounds like theres a bomb under my Hood from all the excess redlining.

Try using an oil additive that has a detergent in it which claims it will stop valve chatter. Also, switch over to a synthetic oil like mobil 1. If that doesn't calm the noise, take your car down to your local toyota dealership for a valve adjustment.

I have the same problem...I use mobil one, but it sounds like crap when it idles.

will it stop if I tighten the cable (I never have) since it goes away at 1K rpm and the car idles at 750
