Butterfly removal...auto. with new intake?

How do I remove the butterfly?? does that automatically come off when you put an Intake on?? I have a gt. Is this worth the hassle??

um, the butterfly valve is in the stock Intake box. if you replace the stock Intake with an aftermarket Intake you get rid of the whole stock assembly.

What he said...open up your stock Intake and you'll see the butterfly built in there. You can take it out of the stock Intake but what's the point if you're taking the whole thing off...
