There's a lot to do when it comes to making a ported box because you need a good size in order for it to give off optimum sound. Size of the box matters, too small, sound quality is crap. And you don't want it too big otherwise you might as well build it into your trunk. All depends on the size and power output of the subs etc. There's a lot to do...that's all I gotta say...

Maybe I'm wrong though...but this is what I've heard
