Nice I love new stuff!!

A little advice on the rotors-

paint the "hat's" because they are gonna rust.

that will rub off when they get used right?

Wow, brembo thumbsup tasty

So those are the same size as the stock rotors? (no need for bigger rims)?

I'm so jealous grin

thought thse were supposed to be slotted, i wonder what performance improvement will be made with the same diameter, and no slots. i know you will get better just because of the green pads, but why not the power slots ?

I didn't get slotted because they are not meant for racing! oem style with awesome pads is a better set up thumbsup

I'm confused. If they're the same size as oem, and they're not slotted.. what's the difference? I mean, why even bother replacing them if they're basically the same thing? Maybe I'm missing something confused

I needed to replace my old rotors since they were rusted through, and have been cut twice.

I would have gotten slotted, but I am a weekend warrior in the summer idunno

Yeah, I saw those too. EBC rotors and pads would be an awesome combination. I'll probably get those installed when they do my 30k mile service, but that's a while off

What do you mean? why aren't slotted rotors meant for racing? don't they produce a bite effect that will help stopping distance adn release gases that build up?

yes, but rotora's are not for that.

powerslot/brembo is, but there isn't a powerslot for the 2000 and brembo is like $800 eek

a slotted and drilled rotor with the same size may cause longer braking distance...since the surface area is reduced...

but then you get lower temp and less dust~

EDIT: hey diablo, i wonder if you need to turn the rotor when you install the pads? (since you have the new rotor...)

well, after looking at the amount of work invovled, I'm having it done by a mechanic.

Also, I hate to screw it up and crash my car thumbsdown spineyes

Don't mean to repeat myself again but i thought that rotora was pretty good quality. i would think that they are pretty good since their brake systems are used in D1. Have you recieved any negative feedback from any rotora slotted rotor owners?

I plan to get their slotted rotors, brake lines, and Axxis pads. and i'll give a review.

I heard the front brake lines have the possiblitiy of rubbing against stuff if you get the stainless ones.

I have axxis ultimate carbon ceramic brake pads and I don't think i need any type of fancy rotor. sure there is a little rust on my rotor but i don't care. but IF I WERE to get some nice bling bling rotors I would get some slotted ones by power slot, brembo or ssbc or whatever if they make them.
