would 2 12" alpine type R subs in a sealed box with a JBL 600.1 amp be good for rap and hip hop music?

Focal...I'm infactuated with the quality of their products cause it's so crisp yet it pounds! Never actually heard JL's in person but from what I've heard they pack a pretty good punch too. Type-R's are also pretty damn good, but after listening to the Focals I have to say Alpine has a tough competition. My two cents...

Someone has suggested this b4 in another thread, bring your CD to a store(s) that carries JL's and Alpine's and listen to it yourself thumbsup
