I'm looking to change all the lights in my car to blue. Anyone know how many LED's are behind the cigarette lighter piece that lights up? Also, is there anyway to change the color of the clock?

no, you cannot change the color of the clock.
I have already tried it on the 03 and you can't...

behind the cig lighter...there is one bulb...
behind the AC knobs, there are two and there is one LED behind the A/C button and defrost button.

Are these LED's behind the A/C, Defroster, and window button the same LED's as the Fuel/Temp Gauge LED's?

nope...the ones behind the defroster button and the A/C button are different and the ones for the knobs and that are bulbs that twist into the circuit board.

Are the three LED's, the ones behind the cigarette lighter, and the two behind the climate control, all the same bulbs?

There arent covers small enough for them, plus the covers make them look an aqua color.

Alright, I've been trying to solve this problem for a while too.
Bulb painting with Testor Trans Blue makes the little bastards look green...

So I soldered in some blue 5mm led's on the board. Problem with that is it makes a spot light effect... so most of the fan display does NOT light up.

Working on sol'n 3 right now. Using a set of the following:

http://www.truckpartsproshop.com/pilot_led_parking_signal_lights.html

They're flexible and conform to tight area.
Let you know results as soon as I do happywink

I used a glass paint on the bulbs in the AC and lighter and it worked a good blue but a little dark

but I guess the paint couldnt handle the heat its gotten a lot lighter now and almost white

...oh well
