thats why you need to ride that like a Nigerian on a bank account!

always bid at least 10-15 over what you are willing to spend, so in case someone bids 30.50, you wil win it with 31, since ebay will take the higgest bid from you

Ok here's how you win at ebay. Find what you want. If the price is at $26, decide what the absolute worst case scenario is for what you would pay. Say, $50. Then open another screen, to the same page. On one page, have your bid ready to go, click it once, then all you have to do is enter your username, password, and ok to bid. But DON'T hit the ok yet. This way whoever has the high bid, isn't aware that anyone else wants it, and will sit and watch it count down.

On the other page, keep it on the item to see the time countdown. Keep refreshing that one, watching it count down and down. If you have a good connection, send in your bid at abou 9 seconds left. That way it puts in your bid at the last moment and anyone watching might have a chance to bid, but not likely. If they do, they might go 5 bucks over, but since your maximum is $50, you will still get the item.

Rob

Haven't lost an item yet, 40+ auctions.
