Anyone know how much they would charge to get this problem fix. i need an estimation. And for those of you that haven't have this problem yet, sorry but anticipate on it, (2000-2002 celicas) change the old bolts to new bolts ASAP. do not want to be like me, okaaay thanks unless you have warrenty thumbsdownfor me

im guessing you dont have warranty on this?
it's about 6 hour job (according to my dealer's "Lift Bolt" booklet...) the bolt itself is asbout 2-3 dollars...good luck~

couldn't you just find a way to get the piece out without having to take the engine apart?

like, put a TINY ass dab of epoxy on the broken piece and screw it in there and it it holds unscrew it?

or drill it out, or something like that?

how much for a six hour job? well i don't know if the epoxy is stronge enough, and i would drill it if i knew what i was doing. well my hopes are running out. maybe the only way to do is assemble the engine apart.

I would N O T recommend doing ANYTHING to the bolts unless you know what you are doing and are willing to pay if you break it.

It's worth investigating it, because 6 hours of shop time is like $300 plus parts and it's something covered under the 60K basic warranty
