I installed my sub box this weekend and moved around these "hooks" and i could use some more around the axel cover area, and other areas in the trunk. What are they specifically called. and how much should i pay for them at the dealer ship? anyone in colorado want to part with there four or as many as they have?

They are available from you local Toyota dealership for about $8 EACH and are called "Rear Accessory Anchor". There are a total of 4 located inside the 7th Gen Toyota US Spec trunk

Yeah, your $20,000 vehicle should be built with fifty cent parts wave

if you want quality, you need to pay for that quality...

If you tend to add many crapy parts to you car, you car will soon look like the parts you've added to it rofl

True but I went with the celica A) it was a "Hand me down" and B) its a cheap car to take care of. I have added a $250 head unit and $400 subs and soon a $300 amp, but for a little piece i could machine for 5 bucks for 10. Toyota parts are so expensive such as the little digital clock 124 for new ones!!! and everything else is so expensive. Come on toyota is not a high end car compared to BMW, and they try to rip you off so much!!!

and you think they just have millions of car parts laying around all over the place??? Get real, there are parts at different dealerships, but not all dealerships have every part to every car, just sitting in their back storage room.

What you are paying for, is the time and research for someone to look for and order a part that the consumer usually doesn't order - the piece you are looking to purchase is in extremely low demand and so the prices will be higher.

BTW - what you are looking for is a two-piece metal attachment, with a screw, all made of high quality forged metal and coated to protect from rust and manor scratch/scrapes... so yeah, can you still make 10 of these for under $8??? Then go for it wave

Why post a question when you already know the answer... rofl
