Have any of you with the TRD springs stuck with the stock shocks? I know that most people that get other brand drops replace the shocks, but I think I've heard that with TRD, you may not need to. Thanks-

you don't have to get new struts with the trd springs.

You don't need to, but you'll end up replacing the struts with those springs anyway so you might as well get struts with those.

yeah, I wish I had got the trd struts when i had the springs put in... My stock struts are feeling very rough now, 3 months after putting in the trd springs...

There are a lot of pot holes and bumps here in nova scotia.

Isaac has the entire TRD strut/spring set..
I have TRD springs with stock shocks..
no matter what kind of springs you have installed, eventually the shocks were wear and you will need to replace them.

What other shocks are out there (other than TRD). I don't need the adjustable shocks, and I'm assuming thats why the TRD ones are over $500... confused Also, where did you all buy your springs and how much should I expect to pay for installation and alignment? Thanks-

Sorry - I forgot rule #1 grin After doing a little reading, I think I may go with Hotchkis since it sounds like the $250 camber kit is unnecessary even with their springs. I think for now I'll leave the stock shocks, but what are some prices on different aftermarket ones? Everyone seems to like the KYB's, but are there high-quality ones that aren't adjustable, and therefore cheaper? Sorry about all the questions...but you guys are a great help thumbsup!
