I apologize if this was covered before, but I'm new to the board. I'm looking to upgrade my rims and tires, and had to this point, been set on 18"s. But I was wondering with the size of the wheel-wells will 19"s fit and still turn without rubbing? The car is a 2001 GTS & dropped 1.5" from factory.

For 18", go no more than 225/40/18. Rims: 18x7.5 Offset: 36+ to 45+

19's have been done before. the one cat that was on the import tuner cover a while back had 19's and was dropped on tanabe springs i think. i don't know if he/she had rubbing issues. i have 18's with 225/40/18 tires and am dropped 1.25" and it's perfect. i'm guessing, if you get 19's, you'll have to get some 35 series tires and i wouldn't go any lower than that.

How about with the stock suspension? You think I could get away with 17s and low pros? How low?
