for ppl with aftermarket rims do any of you take them off during winter and replace back your stock ones to use???if you dont, is there anything i need to know about taking care of them during winter  thanks

I take off my stock wheels and use some 16" steel ones from a matrix.
Only when it's snowy/salty, it's a lot of work.
Just keep them clean, all will be well

And check the air pressure regularly. If it snows a lot in your area I would wrap the stock wheels in snow tires. Since it doesn't snow here, I don't have to worry about that

most people switch back to stock to prevent damage and such to their rims/tires...and also because sometimes their tires are not suitable for snow...
I'm not going to this year since I won't be driving much until I get my license, but next year my dad said I should.

I just don't drive my celica in the winter... Or rain... Sleat or anything but sunshine for that matter...
That works best..

take the rims off and goto tirerack.com and get the wheel and tire package for WINTER. banging deal for 15" steeles mouted in Blizakkk ws50's for 480$ shipped to ur door. banging deal.. . but im taking my rims of' it'd be the stupidest thing to drive with them on , in the winter,
