How do i remove these plastic screws/nails (pictures included)

We all have these screws or nails that are really good in principle, but i have broken way to many with flat heads, and now i want to find out the right way to do this here is a picture of the screws (from satoshi's site)

you just poke the top of it with a small phillips screw driver or something small with a pointy end. it'll pop down and release itself. to install it back in you have to push it from the bottom up so that the part you poked on top is now sticking out. i hope you understand.

yeah like he said, to take them out, press a screwdriver into the center until it "pops" in and then pry up the screw with a flathead.

To replace them, push the bottom of the screw back out with your finger. Then put it back in your car and push down the center until it "pops" back in. Voila thumbsup

yep exactly what these guys are saying cause thumbsupi had to do the same to insatll my carbon fiber tail lights..pretty easy

I don't think there's any way to get the ones holding the very back trunk interior out with out breaking them and probably scratching your plastic.
They're very cheap to buy replacement ones from the dealer. I got a bag for $3 I think.
They are a terrible design. The ones on the trunk tray go in and out with out a problem though. confused

Why would you have to break them? I've had mine in and out several times and never broken one. Be GENTLE! grin

i broke on even with your advice, i was using a drill and didnt want to go grab a philups screw driver so i just used the drill bit with the drill and hit it too hard and broke one, it like got cracked and rammed all the way through the metal, im going to pick up a bag when i go out to the dealer next time
