i just got this hotchkis lower spring from trdsourc.com.two front spring seem alrite.but the rear spring trun out too short.like about 3 inch shorter then the stock spring.it doesn't fit on the shock.the part number on this spring is 19980092.did i got the right spring ?or do i have to change the shock too ? please help !!! frown

it may be shorter because the front springs condense more b/c of the weight of the engine. there is not as much weight over the rear wheels compared to the front wheels.

but you may have got the wrong part... idunno

it's shorter.i put both of them to each other.it's too short to install it to the stock shock.if i put it on with the stock shock.it's going to be too loss.can't do it.

just lowwer the front and get that dragster look thumbsup you should call the people that you bought them from


a kid told me that celicas handle like crap... i laughed

yeah they just email me said they will investigate a bit and confirm with hotchkis.
sigh~ i wish it didn't happen frown
i should go with other coilover kit.

Hotchkis lowers the rear more than the front so that you get a more level suspension (the stock suspension puts the celica higher in the rear).

Double check and make sure the spring is sitting correctly in its perch.

The front set are supposed to be bigger. how bout you put them on and see how it looks.
