Trr Noise!
I have post this several times but have not gotten any replies!I have a 2000 auto gts and when i step on the gas i hear a trr sound!it does not happen everytime but it just gets annoying sometimes.i read a couple of post that says it might be an exhaust leak close to the engine or it can be the heat shield rattling does anybody have a clue what it really is ?i need help pls!NO WARRANTY HERE!

Hmm, warranty or no, I'd take it to a local shop or your nearest Toyota dealership just to check it out. That might not cost you anything, and then you'd know where to go from there. That problem doesn't sound familiar to me and it might not be bad but I wouldn't take that chance.

is it when it's still at low rpm and ur car not warmed up?
i got that problem before my car was in the bodyshop (in for 2 weeks...)
i dont know wut they done to it but now it runs smooth..maybe my car needs rest(?).i have an auto GTS too..but 2003

its hard to figure out a problem of a noise when all you can tell it is a TRRRRR rofl rofl Take it to a dealer thumbsup

Yeh i can usually hear it at low RPMs and its still happens when the car is warmed up or not.

If i take it to a toyota dealer isnt it going to cost a lot?
I have no more warrant on my car!
