ok i have a shift knob and it came with the little plastic thingys that that make it fit the shifter right but it has wore out and i was just wondering were i can get new ones or somthing that will work better than these cheap pastic POSes
What kinda of plastic things...does it look like a washer or a pin, etc. If so you might be able to find something that will work at Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace, etc. Got a Pic?

Ok i will take some pics and no its not the thing you discribed its like a cap that goes around the top of the shifter and covers the lenght of the threads i will get on the pic tomorow
