Hey guys some of you might think this is weird but I would like to know what kind of paint to use if you want to paint your rims. I plan on getting hyper black rims for my car and am wondering how they would look before hand, just as a little experiment if you wanna call it that. I have seen about 2 ppl on E-Celica who have painted their rims, one a GT and GTS, and both black. I thought that they both looked very sweet and am curious to know if anybody knos what kind of paint I should use, any and all help is really appreciated before hand, thanks. thumbsup

It's usually around $40 per wheel. It's not that expensive, but mine are gonna be $100 per wheel 'cuz of all of the masking that the guy has to do.

you could get away with painting the rims I think some people use dupli-color whee; paints (like from pep-boys)...

I'd recommend powdercoating like the others said above... my rims were powdercoated black last winter... still shiny and no chipping to date thumbsup
