Looks really nice, never thought about just tinting the underside of the plastic. I just did mine but in testors black pearl, has a very nice metallic shade when the sun hits it. When I put them back together I will post some pics.
Vaio, thats what I had in mind also, just flat black housing, but simply tinting it turned out really nice. me and a friend went to a local hobby shop and they had the testors spray paint you mentioned but we got transparent window tint instead.
well this is the only full shot of it, i dont know if you can tell much difference in this picture.
If you're up for taking pics, one at sunset/dusk would be nice also to tell how much light is still showing through from the headlights.
evan, i don't think the lighting is affected. when you take apart the headlight, its in 3 pieces, the headlight cover, the assembly and the plastic housing that is tinted. when i do get a chance to clean my car, i'll try to take better pictures.

I wish i took pictures of the step-by-step process. I did this at Kim's house and well it took us from 1 to 7pm. Kim did the same with his headlights today and i believe he'll post a more detailed process of it.
