If I get Hotchkis springs, what are the best shocks...I want a really comfortable ride, but I also want it to be able to perform on the corners and things...however, comfort is pretty important to me...

How much money do you have to spend? I've been praising Tein for a while. Get their coilovers the SS or better TA's. Yes they still sell the TA's from Japan. Just call up Tein and get part numbers for all 4 dampers including springs (I'm sure they will offer custome spring rates if needed). It will cost at least 550 for front dampers w/out springs (2 months wait) or 750 (1-3 weeks) or roughly $1500 for everything excluding springs (1-3 weeks) without pillowballs - because of yet they don't have pillowball mounts that work with the Celica (Soon to be released). JIC has some high quality coilovers for 1900 with pillowballs, I think...SWEET. Tanabe also, but I don't no too much about them to give an opinion. Zeal Function B6 too! NICE. Amongst many others, for example B&G, Bilstein (from Hotckhis) and others i'm forgetting right now because suspension gets me HOT!!!. Just save up a little longer and get a really high quality suspension settup from Japan that beats any sleeve coilover, spring, spring and shock, or American.

no, you can use stock shocks on aftermarket springs.
