I have a Carbon Blue Celica GT Auto, and wanted to know which Intake would be the best to get like as in the most HP you can get out of from the AEM or Injen???

AEM provides a better HP gain all the way until RPM peaks...that's where Injen takes the advantage. I'd go with AEM though for that reason. Do a search on google for AEM and Injen dynos to see for yourself though. I'd provide ya with the link now, but I'm outta here. Peace.

Well, the gains are pretty minimal with a cold air intake on a GT. Here is a dyno sheet that shows a comparison of the 2 intakes that both also had trd exhausts as well. Injen seems to put down 3 more torque...so you can make the call there. Injen also has a reputation for crappy low end power and it isn't positioned very well under the hood so you end up having the pipe banging on the fender well, and you have to cut the ecu tube. The AEM on the other hand doesn't have these problems. I have the AEM CAI and had no problems installing it myself, good instructions and a great sound when you are on wot. Happy choosing.

Here's the dyno:

Installed AEM Intake myself (with a little help from a mechanic). Works great, no CEL.
Nice and easy install

well the CAI doesn't really add any HP it just helps the engine breath better. When I installed mine I was thinking WOW, there would be a real noticable difference, but I really couldn't notice anything accept the cool sound it makes @ WOT. I laymans terms, It help when used w/ other mods but don't think the car will run 13's w/ just the CAI.

Not really. Headers let the engine breath out better. CAI takes colder air from the front of the hood, rather than taking warmer air near the engine. The colder the air, the better it burns or something like that. And it does improve your horsepower. Not your flywheel horsepower, but the horsepower to your wheels.

For example: My GTS has 180 flywheel horsepower, but not all of that goes to the wheels.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. thumbsup

the CAI filter is in front of the left front tire, the short ram is up high, right behind the grille. denser air has more oxygen in it. umm an increase in hp is an increase in hp, you will have drivetrain loss with or without mods.
