That is the same feeling i have for the Yoks ES100. Alot of raod noise from them, plus the tire wear is not what i expected!!!! Although my alignment is kinda screwed up.

My Falkens are quieter than my stock tires were. And there is not a noticable ride difference on the 18's...

I Have Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position SO3's in 225/40/18. Great grip wet and dry and not too loud. Most performance tires are going to be louder than non-performance tires because of the rigid/short sidewalls.

Loud yes, but try this on another tire:

I took an almost 45 degree offramp turn at nearly 60 MPH (it was dark, I couldn't see), hard over on the wheel, light brake, back end stayed TIGHT and I rounded the turn, let off the brake, punched the gas at the apex, at a TINY squeak and I was going about 45-50 on the exit, hit lift and was gone.

LOVE The grip tongue

To have played and laughed with enthusiasm
and sung with exultation
To know even one life has breathed easier
This is to have succeeded.
